Dimos Dikoudis

Dimosthenis Dikoudis (Greek Δημοσθένης Ντικούδης, * June 24, 1977 in Larissa ) is a Greek professional basketball player.

Career

His career began Dimosthenis Dikoudis, which can be used with 2.06 m in size on both the position of power forward as well as the center, the Greek club Olympia Larissa where he stood until 1998 under contract. Following Dikoudis moved to AEK Athens. With AEK he won a Greek Cup next two trophies as well as the Saporta Cup. In 2003, Dikoudis to Spain where he stayed for one season at Pamesa Valencia. 2004 signed a contract with the top Russian club CSKA Moscow with which he could win one championship and a cup win. After one season at his old club Valencia, Dikoudis finally returned after three years abroad to Panathinaikos Athens to Greece where he won the triple and the double over the next two seasons.

National

Dikoudis was between 1999 and 2008 an integral part of the Greek national team with which he won the European Basketball Championships in Belgrade, among others, in 2005. Greece defeated it in the final, the German team. In the basketball world championship in 2006 Dikoudis reached with Greece the finals and won the silver medal there. His retirement from the national team Dikoudis declared on 16 June 2008. 114 In international matches, he came up with a total of 957 points ( 8.39 points on average).
