Dingbats (Unicode block)

The Unicode block Dingbats (U 2700 to U 27 BF) mainly contains a collection of symbolic and decorative glyphs based on designs by Hermann Zapf font ITC Zapf Dingbats, which are now an industry standard. The English Onomatopoetikon dingbat ornament stands for printer's, the decoration of the printing system. Since Unicode version 5.2 has not been previously documented code values ​​were used for jewelry characters from other sources.
