Diving at the 2006 Asian Games

In the Asian Games 2006 in Doha total of ten competitions were held in the water jumping from 10th to 14th December 2006 five for women and men. There were individual events from the 1 -meter and 3- meter springboard and the 10 - meter platform and synchronized competitions from the 3- meter springboard and 10 - meter tower.

The competitions were expected to be dominated by Chinese athletes who won all ten possible titles and the maximum yield of 16 medals. Each four podiums achieved athletes from Japan, Malaysia and South Korea, two South Korea.

Participant

It took a total of 58 athletes from some 13 different organizations in the competitions in the water jump, 23 women and 35 men.
