Dmitri Bykov

Dmitri Bykov Vyacheslavovich (Russian: Дмитрий Вячеславович Быков; born May 5, 1977 in Izhevsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who stands in July 2013 in Amur Khabarovsk in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Dmitri Bykov began his career as a hockey player with ZSK WWS Samara, where he was active in the Russian Super League from 1995 to 1998. He then moved to HK Lada Togliatti, for whom he played from 1997 to 1999. In addition, the defender completed in the 1997/98 season ten games for Torpedo Yaroslavl. In the summer of 1999 he was engaged by Ak Bars Kazan, with whom he was runner-up respectively in 2000 and 2002. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2001 in the eighth round as the 258th overall player of the Detroit Red Wings. For the reigning Stanley Cup champion, the Russian played in the season 2002/ 03 a total of 75 games in which he scored twelve points scorer. After a year in North America Bykov returned to Ak Bars Kazan, for in the Super League, he was on the ice for a further two years.

In summer 2005, Bykov was committed by the Russian champions HK Dynamo Moscow, with whom he won the IIHF European Champions Cup at the European level in 2006. With his team, he sat down in the final against Kärpät Oulu by the Finnish SM- liiga out. After the 2005/ 06 season the links Sagittarius signed with league rivals Dynamos Atlant Mytischtschi.

From May 2011 stood at HK Bykov Metallurg Magnitogorsk under contract. After a year he left Metallurg and was obliged Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, where he also plays one year. He was then obliged by Amur Khabarovsk.

Internationally

For Russia, Bykov took part in the World Championships in 1999, 2002, 2004 and 2006.
