Dolph Briscoe

Dolph Briscoe Jr. ( born April 23, 1923 in Uvalde, Uvalde County, Texas, † June 27, 2010 ) was an American politician. He was from 1973 to 1979 Governor of the State of Texas.

Early years and political rise
