Do not Let It End is a song by Styx from 1983, which was written by Dennis DeYoung and the album Kilroy Was Here was released.

History

The song is a ballad in midtempo progressive rock. In the song, the protagonist is separated from his girlfriend and wants the relationship back later. The classic No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK In the United States, reaching number 56 on the British charts.

According to Dennis DeYoung Do not Let It End was originally intended to be released as the first single from Kilroy Was Here, but her record label urged them to publish Mr. Roboto as the first single.

Music Video

The director of the music video took over Brian Gibson. The video begins with Dennis, who plays Kilroy. Kilroy looks at a picture of his former girlfriend ( the picture shows Dennis proper wife Suzanne ), then goes Kilroy into another room, which is a prison in which Kilroy is now caught. As a prisoner Kilroy is a member of the group Styx, which consists of other prisoners. In prison, then the group plays the piece. At the end of the video itself Kilroy is back in the opening scene and looking again at the picture.
