Donnell Harvey

Donnell Eugene Harvey ( born August 26, 1980 in Shellman, Georgia ) is an American professional basketball player. He completed his college career with the Florida Gators. 2000 Harvey was drafted as 22 players from the New York Knicks, and was shortly thereafter traded along with John Wallace for Erick Strickland and Pete Mickeal to Dallas.

NBA career

Harvey was able to fulfill his dream, he made it into the team the Dallas Mavericks. However, his rookie season was a disaster: He barely got playing time and recorded only 1.2 points - A good start is different! In the 2001 /02 season he was at first without success in Dallas on the road before it was traded for the second half of the season to the Denver Nuggets. The change turned out to be a stroke of luck for him, Harvey delivered with 8 points and 6.2 rebounds appealing benefits from. In the entire 2001/02 season he reached 5.8 points and 4.8 rebounds. The following season he scored 7.9 points and 5.3 rebounds ordinary. In the offseason, Harvey moved to the Orlando Magic. This change not turned out in hindsight but as beneficial: Donnell Harvey was released after half a year and signed with the Phoenix Suns. Over the entire season, he came up with 4 points and 2.7 rebounds. For the season 2004 /05 he moved to the East Coast to the New Jersey Nets. With the Nets Harvey received almost no playing time ( whole 5.3 minutes per game ). In his rare playing opportunities he marked nevertheless still 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds. However, he has since received a contract more in the NBA.

Time in Europe

Donnell Harvey continued lack of alternatives his career in Europe continues, including the Turkish club Banvit BK. Summer 2008 Harvey dared surprising jump back to North America, he was in the squad of the Charlotte Bobcats for the NBA Summer League. The jump in the Endkader the Bobcats remained to him but denied.
