Dov Lior

Dov Lior (Hebrew דב ליאור, born 1933 in Breslau, German Empire ) is an Israeli rabbi, Jewish scholar and author, the chief rabbi in the Israeli settlements in Hebron and Kiryat Arba in the West Bank is. He is Chairman of the Board of Rabbis of Judea and Samaria.

Life

Lior was in a Hasidic dynasty ( Belz ), the son of Moshe canvas in Jaroslaw, Galicia born. Rabbinic Career

Lior is a supporter of religious Zionism. He served 10 years as Rabbi of Moshav Kfar Haroeh ( between Hadera and Netanya ).
