Drawsko, Greater Poland Voivodeship

Drawskie ( German Dratzig ) is a village with a seat of the same rural community in the powiat Czamkowsko - Trzcianecki ( circle Scharnikau - Schönlanke ) in the Polish province of Wielkopolska.

Geographical location

Drawskie is located on the Noteć ( networks) in the triangle of Krzyż Wielkopolski ( Cross ( Eastern Railway ), 2 km ), Drezdenko ( Driesen, 10 km) and Wieleń ( Filehne, 11 km) and is about the province road 181 Drezdenko - Wieleń - Czarnków ( Scharnikau ) to reach. History

Until the entry into force of the Treaty of Versailles Dratzig was a village in the district as well as Gutsbezirk Filehne ( Regierungsbezirk Bromberg ) in the Prussian province of Posen. 1910 were registered here in 2494 inhabitants.

In 1920 - after fixing the nets as the border between Germany and Poland - came Dratzig under the name Drawskie to Poland, where it became part of the rural community Wieleń ( Filehne ).

1939 again called Dratzig place was part of the German administrative district Filehne country, who received from 1943 the name " Filehne ( Warta Country ) country".

Since 1945, the village is Polish again and belongs to the powiat Czamkowsko - Trzcianecki in the Greater Poland Voivodeship ( 1975-1998 Voivodeship Pila ( Pila ) ). It is the official seat of the municipality of the same country. Today in Drawskie registered inhabitants in 1640.

Church

The population of Drawskie is almost exclusively Catholic denomination. The parish with Drawskie, Drawski Mlyn ( Dratzigmühle ) and Chełst ( Neuteich ) is located in the Dean's Office in the Archdiocese of Poznan Wieleński of the Catholic Church in Poland. The municipality runs as a main traffic artery, the province road 181, which connects the cities Drezdenko ( Driesen ) and Czarnków ( Scharnikau ). Rails
