DRG Class 87

The class 87 was a unit freight tank locomotive of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. The steam locomotive was specially developed for use in the Port of Hamburg by the company Orenstein & Koppel. There was minimal curve radius of 100 meters and high tensile loads to move. The axle load could be a maximum of 17.5 t. From the requirements, the count of five axles revealed.
