Drumuillie

Drumuillie is a hamlet in the Scottish Highland Unitary Authority. It is situated in the Cairngorms in the forest area Abernethy Forest in the valley of the Spey, the Drumuillie happened two kilometers to the south. About two kilometers southwest lies Boat of Garten and ten kilometers northeast of Grantown-on -Spey. The hamlet stretches along the highway A95. The nearest railway station is located in Boat of Garten.

Near Drumuillie are the remains of a historic Cairns and a stone with cup-and -ring markings. Around 1870, a Pictish symbol stone was discovered east of the village. The resulting fragment measures approximately 185 cm × 45 cm and was further used as a grave stone in the cemetery of Kincardine. South on the banks of the Spey was once a moth named Tom Pitlac.
