In an interview with an editor of the website "The A & R Online" Jeff Blue Dry Cell described (then provisionally " impur " called ) as follows:

" They're like Metallica meets Incubus meets Linkin Park but heavier. No DJing, no rapping, very melodic and the kids are just phenomenal musicians "

" They are like Metallica Incubus plus plus Linkin Park - only harder. Without DJing without centimes, very melodic; the guys are just phenomenal musicians "

Blue also describes how he discovered the band:

"A friend of mine told me about the drummer who what 11 at the time and how amazing Said hey what. I ended up hearing a demo did was not very good but because i was right down the street from where theywere playing I went up and saw them and what Actually very impressed. I made a development deal and have now been working with them for over a year and a half. I'm with them six hours, six days a week. I have them in a rehearsal room right next to Warner Brothers "

" A friend of mine mentioned the drummer, who was then 11 years old, and told me how fantastic he was. In the end I listened to the demo tape, which was not very good. But since you only played a street away from me, I went out to look at me, and was really impressed. I made a development contract with them, and now we are working together for over one and a half years. We spend six hours a day and six days a week together. I am very close to them off because their rehearsal room is right next to Warner Brothers. "

After completion of the contract with the Warner Music Group, the band began work on her debut album, "Disconnected". The album contains 12 tracks originally intended to be published on 16 July 2002; this deadline was postponed to 27 August 2002.

Later, there was a dispute between the father of one of the band members and Jeff Blue, the father did not agree with promotional budget of the band. Two days after this fight he complained officially to the Warner Music Group and two days later the record deal of Dry Cell was dissolved.

The only place where the "Disconnected " album ever sold that was " Locobazooka Festival " in 2002. Were offered at that time the final, pressed copies of the album, including the cover illustration.
