Ducové
Ducové ( until 1927 slovak also " Ducov "; Dutzo German, Hungarian Duco ) is a municipality in western Slovakia. It lies in the Waag Valley at the foot of the mountain Považský Inovec, about 8 km from Piešťany.
The place is known for its archaeological significance and reference the Great Moravian fortified settlement on the mountain Kostolec. The village was first mentioned in 1348 and was from 1976 to 1992 a part of the community Moravany nad Váhom.
