Dulovo, Slovakia

Dulovo ( until 1927 slovak " Dulovec "; Hungarian Dúlháza - to 1902 Dulháza ) is a small municipality in the southern central Slovakia east of the river Blh Rimavská Sobota.

It is located in the mountains of the Slovak Ore Mountains, and in 1455 first mentioned in writing as Dwihaza, the name derives from the name of the then owner of the place, Dulo Garanyi, from.

Until 1918 the village was in the county Gemer and small Hont the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to the newly formed Czechoslovakia. By the First Vienna Award they came from 1938 to 1945 for a short time again to Hungary. After returning to the place Czechoslovakia from 1964 to 1990 was incorporated into the municipality Bátka.
