Dunaivtsi Raion

The Rajon Dunajiwzi (Ukrainian Дунаєвецький район / rayon Dunajewezkyj; Russian Дунаевецкий район / Dunajewezki raion ) is a administrative division of Ukraine and part of Khmelnytskyi Oblast.

The Rajon located in the southern part of the oblast near the border with Chernivtsi Oblast and belongs to the historic region of Podolia.

The area of ​​Rajons lay up to 1923 in the government of Podolia, then Rajon in smaller form was (352 km ² ) was created for the first time in it lived about 30,000 inhabitants in 69 locations which were divided into 19 district municipalities. From 1925 to 1932, belonged to Rajon Okrug Kamjanez - Podilskyj, then he came to the Vinnytsia Oblast.
