E-Type (musician)
E-Type ( born August 27, 1965 in Uppsala, Bo Martin Erik Eriksson actually ) is a Swedish dance musician.
Life
Eriksson began his musical career as a drummer in the Swedish thrash metal band witch house and VJ was for the TV Z- TV. The early 1990s he began a solo career. Published in 1991 E-Type 's debut single We've Got the Atmosphere, followed by Numania 1, both with the Swedish musician Bo Stakka and 1993, followed by his solo single I'm Falling, which flopped all three.
Three years later, E-Type managed the big breakthrough with his album Made in Sweden ( produced by Denniz Pop and Max Martin, later responsible for hits by Ace of Base, Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears ) connected to the currently trendy Euro dance sound sets female vocals. The first single Set the World on Fire make it to # 2 in the Swedish charts, the sequel This Is the Way reached number one in Sweden and can also in France and the Netherlands reached high chart positions.
