The East Tamar Highway is a highway in the north of the Australian state of Tasmania. It connects Launceston along the eastern shore of the Tamar River with the coastal town of Georgetown.

Course

The road begins in the center of Launceston and runs through the suburb of Mowbray northwest. Shortly after leaving the urban area, the Georgetown Road ( B81 ) is attached. About Dilston and Mount Direction on the east bank of the Tamar River East Tamar Highway leads to the junction of the Batman Highway ( B73 ), during which the only bridge on the Tamar River, the Batman Bridge, the East Tamar Highway connects with the West Tamar Highway.

Next, the road to the northwest on the connection of Bridport Road ( B82 ) to the end point in Georgetown at Port Dalrymple. There includes north- northwest on the Low Head Road to the coastal settlement Low Head.
