Edcarlos Conceição Santos ( born May 10, 1985 in Salvador da Bahia) is a Brazilian footballer.

Career

Clubs

Edcarlos comes from the youth from FC São Paulo. In 2004, he came into the first team of the club, where he played successfully in the next three years. Edcarlos won with the FCSP in 2005 next to the State Championship of São Paulo and the Copa Libertadores (without final game use ) and then the FIFA Club World Cup. In the two games at the Club World Cup played by each of the defensive player and could after the 1-0 win against Liverpool on 18 December 2005 for the first time to win this title in the club's history. Edcarlos participated with the Brazilian U -20 national team at the Junior World Cup in 2005. He later played with well known European football players such as Renan Brito Soares and Rafinha. With the team the defensive player advanced to the semifinals, where they failed to Argentina 1-2. In the 3rd place match against Morocco achieved the full-back. By balancing Fábio Santos Romeu in the 88th minute and another goal in injury time of Edcarlos (90 1 ) itself, the game was still turned and won 2-1.
