Edderton

Edderton (Gaelic: Eardardan ) is a village in the Scottish Highland unitary authority in the traditional county of Ross -shire. It is located near the Dornoch Firth about 13 kilometers north of Invergordon and 35 km north of Inverness. The A9, the Edinburgh to Thurso spans connects the Dornoch Firth few kilometers from Edderton away.

In Edderton is since 1790 the distillery Balblair. A few hundred meters northeast of Edderton is the Bronze Age standing stone Clach Biorach to find. In the old cemetery stands a Pictish symbol stone.
