Eddie Nolan

Edward William " Eddie" Nolan (* August 5, 1988 in Waterford) is an Irish football player. The versatile defender comes from the youth academy of Blackburn Rovers and currently stands at Scunthorpe United.

Career

In 2006, Nolan from the youth team of Blackburn Rovers in the first team. There he completed while in the league not a game, but gave up on December 13 in the match against AS Nancy- Lorraine his UEFA Cup debut. In 2007 he was awarded for a month at Stockport County. After his return to the Rovers, the club gave him the winter of 2007 at Hartlepool United, where he came to a total of eleven bets.

Followed in October 2008 with Preston North End, the next Leihklub that equipped him to three months of the year with a new contract with a term of 3 ½ years. As a two-footed and equipped with a good game overview at left-back, he was with 24 duty stakes in the 2008 /09 season is fast becoming a favorite with audiences, but after the departure of manager Alan Irvine, his prospects deteriorated watching. He followed Irvine in January 2010 to Sheffield Wednesday and completed mostly at right-back in the running season 2009/10 on loan still 14 league games. Since in Preston sporting prospects remained bleak further, he took in July 2010, the next Leihofferte and went to league rivals Scunthorpe United. At the end of the lending agreement Nolan joined in January 2011 on a firm contractual basis to Scunthorpe.

National

Nolan won several Irish U -21 players and came beyond 29 May 2009 under Giovanni Trapattoni against Nigeria (1-1) on his debut in the senior team.
