Edge (Wrestler)
Adam Joseph Copeland ( born October 30, 1973 in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada), better known by his ring name Edge, is a retired Canadian professional wrestler and actor. He performed regularly in the produced by WWE Wrestlinghows SmackDown and Raw.
With seven regencies as World Heavyweight Champion and the twelve times winning the World Tag Team Championship Copeland is the sole record holder of both titles. He is also a member of the WWE Hall of Fame since 2012.

Wrestling career
After Adam Copeland was different wrestling schools, such as the Sully 's Gym the Canadian wrestling promotion Apocalypse Wrestling Federation ( AWF ), and thus trained by the likes of Bret Hart, Ron Hutchison, Leo Burke and Sweet Daddy Sikki for wrestlers, he started his professional career at the June 1, 1993 in the AWF.
Copeland collected in the first time in several independent promotions first wrestling experience and eventually came to the WWF in 1998. At the beginning of his WWE career, he formed a tag team with Christian, which was allowed to win the World Tag Team Championship seven times. Later he was also a tag team win title with Rey Mysterio, Hulk Hogan, Chris Benoit and Randy Orton. With over 30 titles regencies Adam Copeland holds the record with the most championship titles in WWE.
RAW
After WrestleMania Copeland was changed to RAW and was allowed to get there together with his compatriot Chris Benoit twice the title of World Tag Team Championship.
In July of 2004 he was already holding the WWE Intercontinental Championship. At Wrestlemania 21 was allowed him the so-called " Money in the Bank - Match" win, which secured him loudly storyline a title shot within a year.

On 7 May 2007, he was able to defeat Mr. Kennedy and secured again the Money in the Bank briefcase, Kennedy could win in the same year's WrestleMania. Smackdown

However, this title he was forced to resign at WrestleMania 25 back on John Cena. He could win the title again at Backlash in a Last Man Standing match against John Cena. On 7 June 2009 he had to relinquish the title after a Ladder Match at WWE Extreme Rules major event to Jeff Hardy. Return and End of career (2010-2011)
At the Royal Rumble 31 January 2010 Copeland returned, which he was allowed to win. Then he again made an alliance with Christian against Alberto Del Rio, Brodus Clay and Ricardo Rodriguez. At WrestleMania 27 Copeland defended the title successfully against Del Rio. This was his last match since his injury-related withdrawal Copeland announced surprisingly on 11 April 2011 on RAW due to spinal stenosis.
On January 9, 2012 it was announced that Copeland will be included in the WWE Hall of Fame. This happened on 31 March 2012 which he is the youngest WWE Hall of Fame member.
Controversies
2005 Copeland began an affair with the well-known under the ring name Lita WWE Diva Amy Dumas. This was still romantically involved with at the time with their colleagues Matt Hardy. She later confessed publicly their relationship, Copeland divorced from his former wife and Lita ended the relationship with Matt Hardy. This incident entzürnte Hardy and his very public outbursts made for his release from WWE. Nevertheless, he got the sympathy and support of the fans, while Copeland and Dumas difficult were criticized.
