Edie McClurg

Edie McClurg ( born July 23, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA) is an American actress.

Life

Edie McClurg is known mainly from minor roles in television series. The chubby actress but was also seen movies. Your cinema debut was in 1976 in Brian De Palma's Carrie - Satan ' youngest daughter. In the late 1980s, she appeared in several films John Hughes as a ticket for two with Steve Martin, where she played the counselor in a rental car, or in Ferris Bueller, where she acted like an incompetent secretary. From the 1990s she worked in larger theater productions. In the film, From A River by Robert Redford, she played the mother of Emily Lloyd, and in the Disney comedy Flubber she appeared alongside Robin Williams. Furthermore, she took voice roles in animated films, as Mrs. Brisby and the Secret of NIMH, A Bug's Life, The Little Mermaid and The cows are going on.
