Edinburgh Academical Football Club

The Edinburgh Academical Football Club is a rugby union club, which plays in the Scottish Hydro Electric Premiership. The home games are played at Raeburn Place in Edinburgh. He is the oldest rugby union club in Scotland.

The Edinburgh Academical Football Club was founded in 1857. Due to the not yet completed split between football and rugby, the founder rugby took over not in the club name. 1871 saw the first international match in history between Scotland and England held at the venue of the association.
