Edoardo Molinari

Edoardo Molinari ( born February 11, 1981 in Turin ) is an Italian professional golfer on the European Tour.

He comes from a golf-loving family (brother of Francesco ) and began in Circolo Golf Torino with golf. At the height of his amateur career Molinari won in 2005 as the first continental Europeans, the U.S. Amateur Championship.

He was professional golfer in 2006 and first played on the Challenge Tour, where he succeeded in 2007, the first tournament victory. After three more victories in 2009, Molinari qualified automatically for the European Tour, where it has been able to post two successes in 2010. End of August 2010 has appointed him captain Colin Montgomerie as captain 's pick in the European selection for the Ryder Cup 2010.

With his younger brother Francesco, he won in November 2009 for the first time in Italy the World Cup.
