Geography

Location

Eggermühlen is within the Ankumer height and to the northwest by the Teutoburg Forest Nature Park, Northern Wiehengebirge.

Climate

Near the village is erected in the 13th century manor of the noble family of Boese stock. This came in 1654, by purchase into the possession of the estate, which was originally commissioned by the Bishop of Osnabrück fief. The family of Boeselager built the estate in 1714 from a Castle.
