Elizabeth Banks
Elizabeth Banks ( born February 10, 1974 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, as Elizabeth Maresal Mitchell ) is an American actress, film producer and director.
Career
1992 ended the Banks High School in 1996 and made her degree at the University of Pennsylvania with " magna cum laude". She then studied until 1998 drama at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. After her studies, she went to New York, where she began a stage career under her maiden name and incidentally took first roles in television series. Later she concentrated more on her film and television career and moved to the better role for deals to Los Angeles, where she took under the pseudonym Elizabeth Banks.
About supporting roles in various films like Stormy Love - Swept Away Banks in 2003 was the breakthrough as an actress with the movie Seabiscuit - With the will to succeed, the first leading roles in films such as Baxter - The Private Resort (2005) and Slither - gone full on the mucus (2006) followed. Banks is since 5 July 2003 with Max Handelman, she knows since their time at college, married. The couple thanks to a surrogate mother two sons (* 2011 and * 2012 ).
