Ella Eyre

Ella Eyre (born 1 April 1994 London, real name Ella Mary McMahon ) is an English pop and R & B singer.

Biography

Ella Eyre grew up in West London and was already four years of dance lessons. She attended a boarding school in Somerset, where she starred in a school production of Bugsy Malone and discovered her passion for the stage. She applied at the BRIT School in Croydon, where she studied acting. There she discovered her interest in music, Eyre was discovered as a singer and sang two songs in 2012 at Bastille on a mixtape. In the spring of 2013, it was the voice in Waiting All Night by Rudimental, with whom she went to England tour. The song reached number one on the British charts and success helped her to a recording contract with Virgin. Further collaborations with Tinie Tempah and Naughty Boy before the end of 2013 her first EP Deeper appeared. The title song she wrote herself along with Benjamin Ash.

Early 2014 Waiting All Night was nominated as Single of the Year at the BRIT Awards and Ella Eyre was a nominee in the category Critic's Choice for most promising newcomer. At the Sound of 2014, the BBC she was put in second place. Deeper Then went into the UK charts.
