Elliot Silverstein

Elliot Silverstein ( born August 3, 1927 in Boston, Massachusetts as Elliot Hersh Silverstein ) is an American film director and film producer. He became internationally known through the movies Cat Ballou - Hang thou shalt in Wyoming, A man called Horse and The Devil on wheels.

Life and career

Elliot Silverstein was born in 1927 in Boston, Massachusetts. A graduate of Yale Drama School Silverstein taught courses at the beginning of his career in the theater before moving to the U.S. Omnibus series a directing career began in television in 1954.
