Elliott, Northern Territory

Elliott is a place with 355 inhabitants in the Australian state of Northern Territory. The village is located on the Stuart Highway, about 250 kilometers north of Tennant Creek and marked about half of the 1500 km long route between Darwin and Alice Springs. Elliott was named after the Lieutenant Snow Elliott, who at this point resulted in a camp for traveling Commonwealth troops during the Second World War.

The area in which Elliott is, is the home of the tribe of Jindili. Of them, the place is called Kulumindini.
