Emanuel Bentil ( born December 3, 1978 in Tema ) is a Ghanaian football player.

Career

Clubs

For the youth of the Ghanaian Association Okwawu United emerged from Nkawkaw, came Bentil 1996 in the youth department of FC Bayern Munich, in Ecuador after he won as captain of the U- 17 national team in 1995 the title of the U-17 World Champion.

With him, also his teammate Christian Saba has been committed; both the first-team squad consisted of 1997/98. The fact dissatisfied, never in the pros to have been only (up to 2000) used in the amateur team, Emanuel Bentil moved in summer 2000 to Greece for the first division AO Kalamata with which he claimed his first season ( as a table Fifteenth ) in the second League relegation and remained in it until 2003.

After the end of the season (1 November ) Bentil moved to Bulgaria and joined the first division Cherno More Varna. In early 2006, Bentil a short spell in the United States at Los Angeles Galaxy, for which he was only used as a substitute. In November of the same year he left the club and joined AD Isidro Metapán to El Salvador. In July 2007, he joined Khánh Hòa Khatoco to Vietnam and played then, in early 2008, in Israel for the third division side Hapoel Nazareth Illit in the league Alef. Since 2010 he has been active for the fourth-rate Hollywood United FC in the United States. His debut 22 May 2010 in the 3-3 draw against Fresno Fuego, he crowned the same with a gate.

National

Bentil took from 3 to 20 August 1995 at the U -17 World Championship in Ecuador in part and denied all six matches including the final. In the quarterfinals on 12 August, he scored in a 2-0 win against Portugal the opening goal in the 14th minute and on 20 August in the final in a 3-2 victory against Brazil he made with the 3-1 in the 49th minute for the preliminary decision for the title.
