Emilio Correa (boxer born 1985)

Emilio Correa Bayeux (born 12 October 1985) is a Cuban boxer. He won the silver medal at the Summer Olympics in Beijing in 2008, a bronze medal at the World Amateur Championship in 2005 and winner of the Pan American Games, 2007, both at middleweight.

Career

Emilio Correa Bayeux grew up in Havana. As the son of the Olympic champion in boxing from Munich 1972 welterweight Emilio Correa Vaillant him the way to boxing was practically predetermined.
