Emilio Sánchez

Emilio Sánchez Vicario (* May 29, 1965 in Madrid ) is a former Spanish tennis player.

In his career, he won three Grand Slam tournaments in doubles and two in mixed doubles as well as the silver medal at the Olympic Games in 1988.

Sánchez 1984 pro and won his first individual title in 1986 in Nice. In his career he won a total of 15 tournaments in singles. Highlight was winning the Italian Open in Rome in 1991. His highest position in the singles world ranking was 7th place
