EMP Merchandising
The E.M.P. Merchandising Handelsgesellschaft mbH is a German merchandising company, the recordings, memorabilia, accessories, textiles and distributes films. Headquartered in Lingen. In addition, other corporate offices are in Sweden ( Sweden Rock Shop), Great Britain, Italy, France and the Netherlands. The abbreviation stands for EMP Exclusive Merchandise Products.
History
EMP was founded in 1986 by Felix Lethmate. The business started in a flat in Überlingen in Emsland, but developed in a short time to a growing company, which now employs about 400 people and has its own call center.
Are distributed recordings and merchandise ( fan shirts, banners, etc.) of metal and rock bands (except for extreme right-wing groups ), movies of all genres, Fun spell -shirts and other clothing items and accessories. Today, the company sells its goods in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Finland, the Netherlands ( under Large Popmerchandising ), Spain, the UK and Sweden ( at Sweden Rock Shop). Managing Director Ernst Trapp. Entered the company in the Amtsgericht Osnabrück.
On January 31, 2014 opened another shop in Vienna. He is from Switzerland and the Netherlands, the third store outside Germany.
EMP,
Since 1998, the company produced a magazine which is sent quarterly to active customers, and also available at newsagents is. In this magazine, which mainly serves as a mail order catalog and CD reviews of new releases and interviews are reprinted with relevant bands among others. The circulation of the magazine is about 1 million copies.

Are distributed fan shirts, CDs, DVDs and other merchandising items that come from the fields of metal, hard rock, alternative rock and punk. These include, inter alia, Fan of bands like AC / DC, Metallica, Slipknot, Motorhead, Bring Me The Horizon, Dropkick Murphys and Volbeat. A separate category for hip- hop recordings was set after the hip-hop Mailorder was acquired MZEE.com, which is now a subsidiary of EMP Merchandising HGmbH. For MZEE own magazine was published until 2012 also. The product range also find articles away from the typical genres such as Articles of country musician Johnny Cash in the range.
DVD & BluRays
Are distributed films of all categories, as well as music videos and DVDs and BluRays with live performances by metal bands. Here, the rating under applicable youth protection must be marked in the magazine.

Others
Since 2003 there is an in-house metal band called Evil disposition and was founded by EMP employees. On 11 December 2010, the band released their single jingle ball at the Udo Dirk Schneider was involved. The proceeds were donated to PETA. The second single Santa is Cumming was published on December 24, 2012 on YouTube.
On the private channel DMAX and as amended on the EMP Rockinvasion Channel runs the EMP Rockinvasion since 26 August 2011. The second season began on December 21, 2012. Depending season there are 6 episodes.
