Enrico Casarosa

Enrico Casarosa (* October 19, 1970 in Genoa ) is an Italian animator and illustrator.

Life

Casa Rosa grew up in Genoa and studied at the University of Genoa engineering. He moved to Milan, where he attended the Istituto Europeo di Design Illustration courses. In 1994 he went to New York City. He studied animation at the School of Visual Arts and Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology, the study but not completed.

Casa Rosa was as a background designer and storyboard artist for various television series of the Disney Channel acting and eventually began working at Blue Sky Studios as a storyboard artist. He was so involved in the films Ice Age and Robots. In January 2002, he came to Pixar and worked as a storyboard artist on the films Cars and Ratatouille. Later, he was also as a storyboard artist, involved in the development of the top. His directorial debut was the seven-minute Pixar short film La Luna, the animation Annecy had its world premiere on June 6, 2011 at the Festival d'.

Casa Rosa also published several books of his own illustrations, including the comic book series The Adventures of Mia

Casa Rosa is married, has one daughter and lives in San Francisco.
