Enzersfeld

Enzersfeld in the wine district is a market town with 1645 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district Korneuburg in Lower Austria.

Geography

Enzersfeld lies in the wine district in Lower Austria east of Korneuburg. The area of ​​the municipality covers 9.84 km ². 4% of the area is forested.

Community structure

The municipality comprises the two villages (in brackets population as of 31 October 2011):

  • Enzersfeld in the wine district ( 1070)
  • King Brunn in the wine district (551 )

The municipality comprises the cadastral Enzersfeld and King Brunn.

History

The autonomous communities Enzersfeld and King Brunn joined on 1 January 1970 along the greater community Enzersfeld.

Since 2006 Enzersfeld is a member of the Regional Development Association 10 before Vienna. By order of the council in January 2009 it was renamed the community on Enzersfeld in the wine district.
