Epaphus

Epaphos (Greek Ἔπαφος ) In Greek mythology, the son of Io and Zeus. Epaphos has a black skin color by Aeschylus.

He was born after the mother long wanderings on the Nile. On occasion Heras Epaphos was stolen by the Curetes, for which Zeus killed them with lightning. His mother took him back to the Queen of Byblos and brought him back to Egypt, where he later became king. He married Memphis, the daughter of Nilus ( river god of the Nile ), and named after her, the city of Memphis. The couple had two daughters: Libya ( by Poseidon ancestress of the rulers of Argos ) and Lysianassa ( by the same mother of Busiris ).
