EPIC Racing

EPIC Racing is a Spanish motor racing team based in Vitoria- Gasteiz. " EPIC " is an acronym for Euskadi Phil Imanol Claudio. Euskadi is the Basque name of the Basque Country, Phil Payne, Imanol Zubikarai and Claudio Corradini are senior people 's achievements. EPIC took over in 2011 the racing team Epsilon Euskadi in several Formula Renault championships. 2012, is the team in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup active.

History

2011 took over EPIC Racing, the racing teams of Epsilon Euskadi in the Formula Renault 3.5, Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup Formula Renault and in the alpine. In the Formula Renault 3.5 season 2011 Albert Costa and Sten Pentus were the pilots of the team. Costa scored in the last race of the season 's first win of EPIC Racing in this series and finished the season as the best pilot of his team in fourth place in the drivers' standings. Also in the team standings EPIC Racing was fourth. In the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup the team used three vehicles and four drivers. Also in this series won EPIC Racing with Alex Ribera's the season finale for the first time. In the team standings, the team took sixth place. In addition, the team used a vehicle in the Formula Renault Alpine in some races.

For the 2012 season, EPIC Racing competed for a starting place in the Formula Renault 3.5. The team, however, was not selected. 2012 EPIC Racing takes therefore only on December Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0.
