Eridan

The Eridan is a two-stage French sounding rocket, which was created through the use of Stromboli engine of the Dragon and Dauphin as primary and secondary level. It was thus one of a family of solid rocket consisting of the Belier, the Centaure, the Dragon, the Dauphin and Eridan.

As powerful version of this series could payloads 100-420 kg heights of 200 to max. 460 km bring. She needed for rise times 230-350 s

The first start on 26 September 1968 by the launch site in Kourou failed. Twelve additional launches of this site took the rocket between April 12, 1969, November 14, 1979 to heights 196-420 km. Two copies were launched in January and February 1975 by the Kerguelen.
