Ernst German aka Ernest Dorian ( born September 16, 1890 in Prague, † March 22, 1969 in Berlin) was an Austrian actor.

Family

The German actor Ernst was the son of the Prague big merchant Ludwig German and Louise Kraus.

He married in 1922 his childhood friend Anuschka Fuchs from Prague. She was the daughter of the Prague industrialist Arthur Fuchs and Margaret honor branch from Vienna. Her cousin Herbert Fuchs of Robettin was married to the sister of Franz Werfel.

Life

German grew up in the Old Town of Prague, attended high school there and came up to Rank 7 of the Austro- Hungarian tennis list. After high school he served in the k.u.k. Army.
