Ernst Wide

Wide Ernst (Ernst Theodor Wide; born November 9, 1888 in Stockholm, † April 8, 1950 ) was a Swedish middle and long distance runners.

In the team race over 3000 meters of the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, he came in fourth place and won with the Swedish team silver. Over 1500 m, he came to fifth place.

Four times he was national champion over 800 m ( 1909-1911, 1914), five times more than 1500 m ( 1909-1912, 1914).
