Esporte Clube Tigres do Brasil
The Esporte Clube Tigres do Brasil Ltda. is a corporation organized on 19 January 2004 as Esporte Club Poland do Brasil, which is about 850,000 inhabitants, located in Duque de Caxias, a 20 km north-west of Rio de Janeiro located industrial city and participates in professional football match operation. In practice, the Tiger of petrochemical plant Poland Quimica are subordinate and this also provides the management. Local rivals is the Duque de Caxias FC.
The Tigers took first time in 2009 in the First Division of the State Championship in Rio de Janeiro in part.
History
Tigres do Brasil was founded in 2004 under the name of the associated petrochemical plant as Esporte Clube Poland Quimica, but already at the end of the year, the current name was adopted in the context of the professionalization of the gaming operation. However, the connection with the chemical company remained.
Back in 2005, the Tigers rose from the third division of Rio on to the second division. In the same year the team from Caxias the Copa Rio, which was however denied only by unterklassigen teams won. In the two finals Macaé Esporte Futebol Clube was defeated 1-0 and 2-0. In 2008, the Tigers reached the second place in the second division behind the traditional club Bangu AC from the north of the city of Rio de Janeiro and qualified together with it to participate in the state championship in 2009.
In the first phase of the Campeonato Carioca, Taça Guanabara of, the team of Duque de Caxias, however, was set last and had the least number of goals scored and the worst goal difference in all participants. In addition, the Tigers stand with seven players being sent off in seven games with distance beyond all competitors.

The tigers heard the Estádio De Los Larios in the quarter Xerém of Duque de Caxias. The 11,000 capacity stadium was January 18, 2009, a day before the fifth anniversary of the tiger, opened with a game against Danubio FC, champions of Uruguay in 2007. After the Uruguayan Sergio Leal already in the fourth minute opened the scoring, the game finally ended 4-4. Before this stadium was available, the Tigers played in the Estádio Giulite Coutinho in Mesquita. Established in the year 2000 16.000 man stadium is owned by the América FC and will be expanded in the near future to double capacity.
Training Center
On an area of 24 hectares are under other five football fields in standard size, a pool and a weight training room. In addition, there is a leisure area and players accommodations.
