Etenesh Diro

Etenesh Diro (also Etenesh Diro Neda ;) (born 10 May 1991 Jeldu ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who specializes in the steeplechase.

At the 2012 Olympic Games in London Diro finished second in a personal best of 9:19:89 minutes to sixth place in the obstacle course. Shortly thereafter, she threw herself third in the DN Galan in Stockholm on 9:14,07 minutes. Two weeks later, her ranged 9:24,97 minutes to victory at the World Class Zurich after her compatriot Sofia Assefa was disqualified for leaving the track.

At the World Athletics Championships 2013 in Moscow Diro finished fifth in 9:16,97 minutes.

Etenesh Diro is 1,69 m tall and weighs 47 kg.
