Euratsfeld is a market town with 2545 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Amstetten in Lower Austria around eight kilometers southeast of Amstetten

Geography
Euratsfeld is in the Most district in Lower Austria between Ybbsebene and Randegger Hochkogel. The area of the municipality covers 30.71 square kilometers. 16.46 percent of the area is forested.
Community structure
Euratsfeld consists of three local villages, which is their own places at the same time. ( Number of inhabitants according to 2011 census registers ):
- Euratsfeld ( 12.15 km ², 1,948 inhabitants).
- Gafring ( 9.44 km ², 283 Ew. )
- Great Aigen ( village Aigen ) ( 9.09 km ², 303 Ew. )
History
In ancient times, the area was part of the province of Noricum. In the core Austrian state of Lower Austria lying the place told the eventful history of Austria. Was first documented in Euratsfeld 1332, the market was chartered the church 1908.

Blazon: in a right diagonal split of blue and silver shield a bishop in gold chasuble and miter, in his right hand a book in his left hand a staff; at his feet a black right border bear wearing on his back, a silver bundle.
Policy
Mayor Johann Weingartner (ÖVP ). In the council there after the municipal elections of 2010 a total of 21 seats following distribution of seats: 16 ÖVP, SPÖ 3, Green 2, no other seats.
