European Parliament election, 2009 (Poland)

The European elections in Poland in 2009 was held on June 7, 2009. It was conducted as part of the EU-wide European elections held in 2009, with 50 of the 736 seats were awarded in the European Parliament in Poland. Altogether 1301 candidates applied for a seat, the right to vote were about 30 million people.

The turnout was 24.53 percent compared to an EU average of 43.09 per cent. In contrast to the EU trend, turnout rose, 2004, she was in Poland at 20.87 per cent. The election result:
