Eye Q (record label)

Eye Q Records was one of the record label of Eye Q Music, which has heavily influenced from 1992 to 1997 the trance scene and the Sound of Frankfurt. In 1997 it was closed due to financial problems of Eye Q Records USA.

History

The label was founded between summer 1991 and spring 1992 by Sven Väth, Matthias Hoffmann and Heinz Roth. Club hits such as Café del Mar ( Energy 52 ) No Fate ( Zyon ), The Orange Theme ( Cygnus X), Vernon 's Wonderland ( Vernon ) and Fire Dance ( Odyssee of Noises ) the trance scene have strongly influenced. 1997 pulled the label of Offenbach am Main to Berlin and reported shortly thereafter filed for bankruptcy. The rights to the name of the sub-label Harthouse were later sold to the Under Cover Music Group and Daredo.

Producers

Among the main producers included Ralf Hildenbeutel, Stevie B- Zet ( Steffen Britzke ), AC Boutsen and Oliver Lieb.

Designer

For the international design of all productions of the record label were employed: Bidiol ( Frank Reichhold ), Louis Flanigan, George Dare and Sven Väth.

Sublabels

Even after a short existence of two sub-labels were founded: Hard House and Recycle or Die. Eye Q was from then on, both for the label Eye Q Records Eye Q, as well as for the group, which included all three labels.
