Fabian Busch

Fabian Busch ( born October 1, 1975 in Berlin ) is a German actor and director.

Life

Fabian Busch was born in the district of Treptow and grew up in East Berlin. His parents were vaudeville dancer, his father later stage. Practically grew up behind the stage, he went from 13 years to be an extra. With 15 years and no acting training, he applied for auditions and received a first small film role in Wolfgang Haase carbon "Inge, April and May ." He was then picked up by an agency and played in 1993 with 17 years, his first starring role in Matthias X. Oberg's "Under the Milky Way ", which won the award of the Saarland Prime Minister on the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis 1995. There followed important roles in Andreas Dresen's " Get out of the skin " (1997 ), Hans- Christian Schmid's " 23" ( 1998), Rainer Kaufmann's "Cold is the evening breeze " (1999) and Hendrik Handloegten " Learning to Lie " (2002). In 2000, Busch was nominated for the German Television Award for Best Actor for the TV movie "Ten crazy days " by Christian Wagner.

Fabian Busch also works for radio play, for example in " Theos journey" by Catherine Clément.

In 2010 he turned as a director of the short film " Edgar ", about a widowed pensioner and department store thief in search of work and recognition.

Fabian Busch is married and has a son.
