Fabián Roncero

Fabián Roncero (* October 19, 1970 in Madrid ) is a retired Spanish long-distance runner and holder of the current European record in the half marathon.

In a marathon, the World Athletics Championships 1997 in Athens, he finished sixth. In 1998, he won the Rotterdam Marathon in 2:07:26 hours and hired a year later at the same place as his second best time of 2:07:23 h.

At the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton in 2001, he was fifth in the 10,000 -meter run. In the same year he was the winner of the Berlin Half Marathon in 59:52 min first and so far only European under an hour.
