Fabio Maria Asquini

Fabio Maria Asquini ( born August 14, 1802 in Fagagna Udine in Italy, † December 23, 1878 in Rome ) was a Cardinal of the Catholic Church.

Life

Fabio Maria Asquini ordained a priest on 26 February 1825. 1837 he was instituted by Pope Gregory XVI. appointed Titular Archbishop of Tarsus and appointed Apostolic Nuncio. He received his episcopal consecration Cardinal Carlo Odescalchi. In 1839 he became secretary of the Congregation for Bishops in the Roman Curia.
