Fabric (Club)

The fabric is a techno club in London, England. The club is one of the most famous and is considered one of the best in the world.

History and characteristics

The club was founded by Keith Reilly and Cameron Leslie and opened on 29 October 1999. It is divided into three separate rooms with their own sound system. A special feature of the club is a vibrating floor in "Room One", which moves to the music being played. The soil is known as "body sonic dancefloor ".

DJs and Music

In Fabric already played numerous sizes of the scene such as Richie Hawtin, Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Craig, Ricardo Villalobos, Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Carl Cox or Plump DJs. Friday ( Live at Fabric Fabric) is usually played breakbeat, drum and bass and hip-hop, Saturdays (Fabric at Fabric) gave Techno, Minimal Techno, Electro and House.

Awards

2008 Fabric reached in the " Top 100 Clubs " list of the British magazine DJ Magazine the first place and wore the unofficial title of best club in the world. 2009-2011 it reached in the same list position 2
