FC Lyubimets 2007

Liubimez 2007 ( officially: futbolen PFK ( Profesionalen club ) Liubimez ( ПФК Любимец ) ), is a professional football club from Ljubimez, Bulgaria.

History

The club was founded in 1921 under the name Maritza. In 1947, the football club changed its name and is called at this time Strela. From the sixties called the Club Ljubimez. During its history the club only plays in amateur without particular success. After the end of the 1993/94 season the club will be dissolved. After more than ten years, the club statute in 2006, will be restored thanks to the Bulgarian businessman Atanas Stalev. In the 2006/07 season the team played under the name of Haskovo II and rose to the southern group of the third W Grupa ( amateur league). Before the start of next season, the club moved its headquarters to enable Ljubimez and took the name Ljubimez 2007. After a successful 2007/08 season in the third division, the club was promoted to the Bulgarian B Grupa, which he succeeded in entering the professional football. The association increases after his successful season 2012/13 for the first time in its history in the А Grupa on. In a sensational debut of the club wins 1-0 against the reigning champion Ludogorez Razgrad.
